Align Technology will hold UKI Forum Live, its annual flagship event for GDPs, on Saturday 24th September in London. It will be Align’s first GDP-focused in-person gathering in the UK since 2019.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “Participants will gain insights into Align’s latest innovations, including Invisalign Smile Architect that delivers ortho-restorative treatment planning with a facially driven treatment planning approach. It combines iTero intraoral scans, facial photos, and ClinCheck software to help clinicians create treatment plans that integrate orthodontics and restorative treatments for their patients.
“The speaker line-up includes Jim Carroll an innovation and business transformation specialist, who will share industry-specific insights on the trends and innovation pathways relevant today. Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to Dr Nancy Ward, the first woman to chair the Pankey Institute, a non-profit institute dedicated to helping dental professionals master advanced technical skills, and member of the Invisalign faculty. Dr Sarah Pless, a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, will demonstrate how to master treatment planning with ClinCheck.
“They will be joined by several clinicians, including Dr Monik Vasant, Dr Paul Abrahams, Dr Affan Saghir and Dr Sandeep Kumar, who will host practical workshops to share the benefits of their clinical and practice building experience. Dr Rob Chaffe will hold a session on the combination of the iTero intraoral digital scanner and exocad software in practice.
Align has created an enriched learning experience not just for principals, but also for practice teams. There will be a parallel practice track where team members will learn how to use the iTero intraoral scanner from dental hygienist and business coach Flo Couper, and a practical guide to social media marketing.
The event will also welcome Samantha Clarke, a speaker, author, and “happiness consultant”, who will help delegates explore how to find purpose and well-being in their careers.
