Konica Minolta awarded G-cloud framework contract

Digital IT services firm Konica Minolta has announced it will continue to be a part of the UK Government’s G-Cloud framework for its 13th iteration.

The UK Government’s Crown Commercial Service has awarded the digital IT services firm an RM1557.13 Framework Contract for the provision of cloud software, cloud hosting, and cloud support.

With its latest version set to launch on 9th November 2022, G-Cloud is operated by the Crown Commercial Service and provides a digital marketplace to help organisations in the UK public sector to source and procure cloud computing services.

Basildon-headquartered Konica Minolta specialises in providing data and digital services and has formed part of the G-Cloud framework since 2018.

“An extensive and cost-effective portfolio of flexible Managed IT Services, that can be tailored to any organisation’s requirements, is available from Konica Minolta, through the G-Cloud 13 framework,” the company said in its announcement.

This portfolio of services includes Managed Cloud Hosting that uses UK data centres to help reduce IT costs and free up resources, as well as remote management and monitoring services that offer both patch management and fully-managed options.

There’s also Cloud Print Infrastructure Services for an all-in-one SaaS print solution, cloud-based Intelligent Invoice Processing, Cloud Fax for email-to-fax messaging, and the firm’s 123-Text two-way SMS offering.

Jason Barnes, Head of Public Sector at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), highlighted the company’s goal of supporting the UK public sector.

“Konica Minolta has a long-standing commitment to supporting the UK public sector to improve efficiency and productivity, whilst reducing costs and thus enabling greater resources to be allocated to services that support citizens,” he said. “We are proud to be included once again in the G-Cloud framework.”
